The SCORE E3 Women's Conference could not be possible with out the support of some amazing organizations and people.

SCORE Mentors of Southwest Missouri and the Springfield-Greene County Library District have come together to create the second annual E3 Women’s Conference focused on educating and empowering entrepreneurs. In order to comply with social distancing regulations, this year’s conference has been restructured as a virtual summit with many educational and networking opportunities.

 

SCORE: As a resource partner of the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), SCORE has helped more than 11 million entrepreneurs through mentoring, workshops and educational resources since 1964. SCORE Southwest Missouri mentors help entrepreneurs right here in our community develop their ideas, start their businesses, and maintain growth by passing on their knowledge in various industries to the next generation of entrepreneurs.

 

Springfield-Greene County Library: The 10-branch Springfield-Greene County Library District houses a broad collection of current and classic books, special collections, CDs, DVDs, audiobooks, and digital collections including e-books, movies, music, audiobooks and magazines. Entrepreneurs, nonprofits and business owners enjoy free use of conference and large meeting rooms; assistance from a foundation and nonprofit funding expert on staff; and a rich collection of online resources for demographic, market and business research to instructor-led classes in business, computer, marketing and creative skills.

Damion Trout - Chapter Vice Chair 

Damion Trout is the Owner of Damion Markies Consulting LLC. Damion has healthcare professional with over 20 years in the pharmaceutical field; coupled with over 18 years of managerial experience including: Professional Development, Training, Certifications, and Customer Service. Adapting simplifying complex ideas using multiple methodologies (SDLC, Agile, Waterfall, Scrum, PM, Business Process Optimization and Six Sigma) of process deliveries to optimize the use of process management experience to increase productivity. Strong interpersonal skills, proficient in fostering positive professional relationships and communicating effectively with diverse stakeholders at all levels. Ability to quickly learn projects and processes for effective delivery.

Jessica Burkland - Marketing Committee Chair

Jessica is a full-time instructor at Missouri State University and founder of Activate Consulting and Training. As the current Marketing and Workshop Committee Chair for SCORE Southwest Missouri, Jessica contributes to helping her SCORE chapter achieve its goal of providing the best support for the local small business person. She is a believer in sound business concepts and training - great things can be achieved with the knowledge of both! Before founding Activate, as a manager and college business teacher, Jessica learned how to apply her MBA and instructional design knowledge to training and business improvement strategies that work. Jessica is a self proclaimed "business nerd," when she's not talking or thinking of business, you can find her in Springfield, MO doing anything crafty or creative, remodeling or redecorating her home, or cuddling with what her friends and family refer to as the "petting zoo" of animals. Jessica brings to the table a true love for business and the mission of SCORE.

Katy Pattison - E3 Presentations Committee

Katy Pattison manages the Schweitzer Brentwood branch of the Springfield-Greene County Library, and helps coordinate and promote the library district's services for businesses. In her previous position, she co-led the informational campaign that secured the Christian County Library its first tax levy increase in more than 40 years and helped that library to receive the 2018 Missouri Library Association Public Relations Achievement Award. Katy firmly believes there's a library service you don't yet know about that will make your life better, and she can help you find it.

Kathleen O'Dell - PR Marketer

Kathleen is Community Relations Director of the Springfield-Greene County Library District. She directs the marketing and public relations efforts of the 10-branch library district and helps create a welcoming, professional environment for people to pursue their dreams, ideas, and interests. She participates in Library programs and community projects where the Library can play a key role in starting important conversations.

Stacy Duncan - Sponsors & Exhibitors Chair

Stacy Duncan is the owner and lead trainer of REACH Success Training. She utilizes her decade of experience working as a counselor and her 15+ years in real estate sales to serve by mentoring, coaching, and training women who have a desire to grow their sales career or their own business while living a fulfilling personal life.

Mackenzie Scherer -  Ambassador Chair

Mackenzie Scherer owns Brokesite Website Design as well as Mackenzie Scherer, LLC in which she provides technology consulting services to small businesses. With over 10 years of experence she teaches technology to businesses in a way that is easy to understand. She also serves as the Ambassador Chair, Webmaster, Marketing Committee and Mentor for SWMO SCORE

Justyn Pippins - Diversity Chair

Justyn is a longtime member of Minorities in Business and a passionate leader in the field of diversity and inclusion. Most recently, he had a high level leadership and diversity conference in Springfield featuring New York Times best selling author Stedman Graham.

Chloe Spencer - Marketing Manager

Chloe owns and operates her own Marketing Virtual Assistant business helping business owners and entrepreneurs from around the world create unique brands and marketing strategies to connect with their customers. As a content guru, her main focus is helping people convey their personalities in fun and authentic ways via websites and social media. Chloe also owns her own online crystal business, Gemini Co., that enables people to learn more about the intuitive side of their lives through crystals. Outside of work, Chloe enjoys writing for her blog, working on one of her many crafts, and planning her next trip around the world.

Mary Overbey - Administrative Assistant

Mary is the Founder and Chief Innovator of Borealis Consulting, LLC. She works as an ecosystem builder, a small business consultant, a micro loan broker, and a non-profit consultant. Borealis Consulting, LLC was born to bridge gaps identified within the small business ecosystem, and to assist business focused organizations as they strive to do the same.
